Ethiopia, a landlocked country in the Horn of Africa, is the continent’s second most densely populated (82 million) and the most populous landlocked country in the world.

Ethiopia is bordered by Eritrea in the North, Sudan and South Sudan in the West, Djibouti and Somalia in the East and Kenya in the South. Ethiopia was a monarchy for most of its history and the Ethiopian dynasty can trace its roots to the 2nd century BC. Ethiopia is also one of the oldest sites of human existence known to scientists today. In Ethiopia, ancient historical rituals and traditions have been preserved through the ages.
